Other writing
Now in its 21st year as a music venue,
Hull Adelphi was described to me by one tour manager as a cross
between the Bull & Gate (giving new bands a slot every night for the
last I don’t know how long) and the Phoenix Club (where everything
goes wrong). That's not half the story. Here's a review
of their whole book, and my own version of events there.

Articles
John
Peel
I've got too many memories of his show to write down sensibly, and to
try to sum him up with a few anecdotes would be crass - so anyone with
the slightest interest should be directed to articles in the quality papers,
and an interview by the guys at tohellwith.co.uk
- but here's my own little tribute to him. (October 2004)
A few short reviews of
records I've been listening to "lately":
a playlist, if you will... (from
March 2004)
A short article on ADAPTATION
IN POP
(I don't know when I wrote this. Or why.
September 2003 I suppose)
