Other writing

Now in its 21st year as a music venue, Hull Adelphi was described to me by one tour manager as a cross between the Bull & Gate (giving new bands a slot every night for the last I don’t know how long) and the Phoenix Club (where everything goes wrong). That's not half the story. Here's a review of their whole book, and my own version of events there.
